FAQs

Q:

How much do classes cost?

A:

The current 25/26 class fees will be $80/student per year, or $45/student for one semester for the 12:30-1:30 p.m. class. There is also a $25 registration fee/year per family.  Payment for registration and classes will be due by August 15, 2025 to guarantee your child's spot in class.  These fees help to cover the classroom rental and supply fees.  The middle school Latin and Physical Science class fees are separate and range from $200-$400 per student per year (depending on number of students who register).  Field trips and other activities such as parties are separate costs and information on those costs will be shared with registered families prior to the event(s).

Q:

How much do field trips cost?

A:

The field trip costs will vary, depending on the field trip location.  Registered families will be notified before the event(s) and payment options given at that time.

Q:

Do you promote any religion or are you secular?

A:

We consider ourselves a neutral group.  We have a wide-ranging group of families and we strive to be respectful of each other and do not allow our differences to distract from our goal of providing our children with a fun, interesting, and caring learning atmosphere.  We do not purposefully promote any religious, political, or other sensitive beliefs.

Q:

May I drop my child off and leave the premises?

A:

No. Parents must stay on site and are asked to assist with lessons and activities as needed.  Parents of middle-school age children do not need to attend class with them, unless volunteering in the class.  However, you will need to remain onsite during class time.

Q:

Can I check you out before I commit to classes?

A:

YES! If you want to see what our classes are all about please email us to make arrangements to audit a class for a week.  Please send your request to [email protected] and we will arrange a time for you to attend.

Q:

Can I come just for the play time?

A:

Yes! Our play time is at the Key Peninsula Civic Center every Wednesday from1:30-3pm during the school year. The Civic Center is open to the public during this time unless it has been rented by a private party. You can find us inside the gym or at the outside playground depending on the weather and gym availability.  During the summer, we meet at various parks in the area.
